Talha Quddoos

Talha Quddoos is a PhD student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Utah State University, specializing in Spatial Data Analysis and Transportation Engineering. His research interests include urban transportation systems, spatial patterns of mobility, transportation safety, disaster resilience, and resource optimization.

Before joining Utah State University, Talha worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Urban Informatics, Technology, and Policy at Lahore University of Management Sciences (CITY @LUMS) . There, he contributed to projects related to urban mobility, traffic safety, emergency vehicle response, resource allocation, and route optimization in collaboration with the Walled City Authority of Lahore, the Punjab Emergency Services Department, and the Lahore Waste Management Authority. These projects provided him with hands-on experience in data modeling, traffic analysis, and spatial optimization, particularly in the context of emergency management and urban planning.

Talha holds an M.Phil. in Spatial Science from the University of the Punjab and a B.S. in Transportation Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET). He is particularly interested in improving transportation accessibility and optimizing emergency response capabilities during crises and disasters. Talha is excited to continue his research at Utah State University and contribute to the development of sustainable, inclusive, and disaster-resilient transportation systems.

Jackson Hall

Degree pursuing: B.S. Civil Engineering

Jackson Hall is a 20-year-old sophomore at Utah State University. He is working toward becoming a transportation engineer, and enjoys reading in his free time. He also loves watching sports with his fiancée and playing card games to unwind.
